Environment

Summary:
At Waterlines, we are familiar with concepts such as food chains, and the importance of biodiversity, for the environment and for future generations. We have common sense and know that cigarette butts should end up in ashtrays and that trashes are better off in a garbage can than in the sea. We also believe that the protection of coral reefs or endangered species, primarily sharks, is essential. In short, we love nature, and encourage everyone to enjoy and respect the environment.
  • We work safely in a manner that protects the environment and promotes initiatives supporting the preservation of nature
  • We do not compromise our commitment to the environment for profit
  • We encourage our partners to ensure our customers have good command of their buoyancy, not only to make their dives more comfortable, but also to protect the underwater environment
  • We believe that wild animals should not be kept in captivity, and that vacationers who are willing to observe them should do so with as little disturbance as possible – we do not support fish (or any other species of animal) feeding
  • We work with partners who apply what we call the 3T policy, and urge our customers to follow these guidelines while diving: no Touching, no Teasing, no Taking
  • We encourage our customers to refrain from wearing gloves
